MergeField Constructor

Description

Initializes a new instance of the MergeField class.

Syntax

MergeField()

Initializes a complete new instance of the MergeField class without a connection to an existing ApplicationField.

public MergeField();

Public Sub New()

MergeField(ApplicationField)

nitializes a new instance of the MergeField class with a connection to an existing ApplicationField.

public MergeField(ApplicationField appField);

Public Sub New(appField As ApplicationField)

Examples

The following example creates a Merge Field instance and configures its name setting for a document workflow.

TXTextControl.DocumentServer.Fields.MergeField mergeField = new();
mergeField.Name = "MergeField1";

Dim mergeField As New TXTextControl.DocumentServer.Fields.MergeField()
mergeField.Name = "MergeField1"
