# Processing

A document edited with change tracking records each insertion and deletion as a tracked change until a reviewer accepts or rejects it. The endpoints below `/v1/processing/review` work with these changes. `POST /v1/processing/review/trackedchanges` returns the tracked changes of a document, each with an id, its kind (inserted or deleted text), its text, position and length, the user name of its author and a time stamp. `POST /v1/processing/review/removetrackedchange` accepts or rejects the change whose id it is given, depending on its `accept` parameter, and returns the changed document in the TX format together with whether the change was removed. The ids are renumbered after each removal, so list the changes of the returned document again before removing the next one. Both take the document as a Base64 string in RTF, DOC, DOCX or TX format.

Removing a tracked change counts against the document quota, one per successful request, and listing the tracked changes counts against no quota. The .NET SDK calls them through the `Processing.Review` property of its `ReportingCloud` class, with `GetTrackedChanges` and `RemoveTrackedChange`, and the PHP SDK with `getTrackedChanges` and `removeTrackedChange`. The Java and Ruby SDKs have no methods for them.
