New Composer package names and a new namespace for the PHP SDK and its Laminas module were the changes of 2023. A PHP application that used the former package changes its *composer.json* and its `use` statements, as [Upgrading](#upgrading) shows.

### SDKs

- **PHP SDK 4.0 (September 9).** The SDK moved to the Composer package `textcontrol/textcontrol-reportingcloud` and the namespace `TextControl\ReportingCloud`, which replaces `TxTextControl\ReportingCloud`. It requires PHP 8.1 or later and supports PHP 8.2. Packagist marks the former package `textcontrol/txtextcontrol-reportingcloud` as abandoned. Its releases 4.0.0 to 4.0.6 of July 2022 hold the PHP 8.1 refactoring under the old namespace; see [2022](https://docs.textcontrol.com/reporting-cloud/whats-new/2022/llms-full.txt). - **Laminas module 4.0 (September 9).** The module `textcontrol/textcontrol-laminas-reportingcloud` followed with the namespace `TextControl\Laminas\ReportingCloud` and the same PHP requirement.

### Upgrading

- **Replace the package.** Remove `textcontrol/txtextcontrol-reportingcloud` from *composer.json* and require `textcontrol/textcontrol-reportingcloud`. [Installing an SDK](https://docs.textcontrol.com/reporting-cloud/installation/sdks/llms-full.txt) has the command.
- **Change the namespace.** Replace `TxTextControl\ReportingCloud` with `TextControl\ReportingCloud` in your `use` statements. A Laminas application uses the module namespace `TextControl\Laminas\ReportingCloud`.
- **Check the PHP version.** The SDK requires PHP 8.1 or later.
