Between major versions, Text Control fixes known issues of TX Spell .NET for Windows Forms in service packs. Service Pack 1 of version 11.0, released on April 7, 2026, is the current one. The tables below list the service packs from version 11.0 back to 7.0, with the setup file and the NuGet packages that contain each one, and explain how to install a service pack.

### How Service Packs Work

- **Fixes.** A service pack brings bug fixes and updates for all platforms of the version. Each service pack announcement on the Text Control Blog leads to the list of the known issues it fixes.
- **Cumulative.** A service pack contains the fixes of the service packs before it. An application on version 11.0 without a service pack only needs Service Pack 1.
- **One setup.** The setup of the full version and of the service pack is the same file. It detects whether to update an existing installation or install from scratch. The setups in your Text Control account are replaced when a service pack is released: log in to your Text Control Store account, download the latest version and run it. Service Pack 1 of version 10.0 was the first one released this way; versions up to 7.0 had separate service pack setups.
- **Same for both editions.** Each service pack on this page was released for TX Spell .NET for Windows Forms and TX Spell .NET for WPF on the same day.

The blog article [TX Spell .NET 11.0 SP1 is Now Available: What's New in the Latest Version](https://www.textcontrol.com/blog/2026/04/08/tx-spell-net-11-0-sp1-is-now-available/) announced Service Pack 1. Text Control also updated its private NuGet feeds with the packages of the service pack.

To update a project, install version 11.0.1 of the package it uses in the NuGet package manager, rebuild the application and deploy it again. [Version 11.0](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-spell-dotnet-winforms/whats-new/1100/#the-nuget-packages) describes the two packages.

### Version 10.0

| Service pack | Released | Setup |
|---|---|---|
| Service Pack 1 | February 22, 2023 | *TX Spell .NET for Windows Forms 10.0 with SP1.exe* |

Service Pack 1 of TX Spell .NET 10.0 was released together with Service Pack 2 of TX Text Control 31.0, and the blog article [Service Pack 2 for TX Text Control 31.0 Released](https://www.textcontrol.com/blog/2023/02/22/service-pack-2-for-tx-text-control-31-released/) announced both. For .NET 5, .NET 6 and .NET 7 applications, you update the NuGet packages from the package source **Text Control Offline Packages** after running the setup, then rebuild and test the application.

### Versions 9.0 and 8.0

The setups of these versions, *TX Spell .NET for Windows Forms 9.0.exe* and *TX Spell .NET for Windows Forms 8.0.exe*, carry no service pack in their names, and Text Control offers no service pack setup for them.

### Version 7.0

| Service pack | Released | Setup |
|---|---|---|
| Service Pack 1 | May 28, 2019 | *TX Spell .NET for Windows Forms 7.0 SP1.exe* |

The blog article [Service Pack 1 for TX Spell .NET 7.0 Released](https://www.textcontrol.com/blog/2019/05/28/service-pack-1-for-spell-7-released/) announced it. Unlike the later service packs, it came as a setup of its own, separate from the setup of the full version.
