---

TX Spell .NET for WPF has two dialogs built in, so that an application gets a complete spelling user interface without designing one. The spell check dialog corrects the misspelled words of a text one by one; the options dialog lets the user decide what is checked and with which dictionaries. Both belong to the [TXSpellChecker](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-spell-dotnet-wpf/overview/components/txspellchecker/llms-full.txt) component, and both can be adapted to your application.

### The Spell Check Dialog

The spell check dialog, titled **Spelling**, shows each misspelled word in its sentence, with suggestions and the buttons to ignore, change or add the word to a user dictionary:

You don't create the dialog: the [SpellCheckDialog](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-spell-dotnet-wpf/reference/txtextcontrol-wpf-proofing/txspellchecker/spellcheckdialog-property/llms-full.txt) property of the spell checker returns it, and its buttons, font and behavior can be changed in code before it opens. TX Text Control has a preconfigured spelling dialog of its own, which looks the same but can't be changed. [Spell Check Dialog](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-spell-dotnet-wpf/user-interface/spell-check-dialog/llms-full.txt) describes each part and button, and [Checking on Demand](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-spell-dotnet-wpf/spell-checking/on-demand/#two-dialogs-to-choose-from) compares the two dialogs.

### The Options Dialog

The options dialog, titled **Options**, has up to four tabs: **Spell Checking Options**, **Spell Checking Dictionaries**, **Hyphenation** and **Thesaurus**. The user chooses the words to ignore, switches dictionaries on and off, and edits user dictionaries. It opens from **Options...** in the spell check dialog and the context menu, or from your code with [OptionsDialog](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-spell-dotnet-wpf/reference/txtextcontrol-wpf-proofing/txspellchecker/optionsdialog-method/llms-full.txt). [Options Dialog](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-spell-dotnet-wpf/user-interface/options-dialog/llms-full.txt) describes the tabs and the properties behind them.

### Languages

Both dialogs show their texts in English, and in German when the German satellite assembly of the package is deployed with the application; other languages need the Resource Kit.
