Your application runs on the end user's machine only when the files of TX Text Control ActiveX are there with it, in the right directories and registered. The Deployment Guide lists these files and shows how to ship resources in other languages.

The license side of distribution, the serial number in applications that aren't written in Visual Basic, is covered in [Specifying a Serial Number in C++](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/installation/licensing/llms-full.txt) in the Installation Guide.

### Where to Start

1. Read [Distributing Your Applications](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/deployment/redistribution/llms-full.txt) and add the listed files to your setup program.
2. If your users need another language than the built-in ones, build a resource library as [Resources and Localization](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/deployment/localization/llms-full.txt) describes, and install it in the same directory as your application.
3. For a server, follow [Installing TX Text Control on a Server](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/installation/server/llms-full.txt), which registers the control with *txregsvr.exe*.
