Before TX Text Control ActiveX runs in a development environment or on a server, a few conditions have to be met: a supported Windows version, a supported development environment and, in applications that aren't written in Visual Basic, the license information passed by your code. The Installation Guide covers each of them.

1. Check the [System Requirements](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/installation/requirements/llms-full.txt) on your development machine.
2. If you write a server application, read [Installing TX Text Control on a Server](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/installation/server/llms-full.txt). The license agreement allows TX Text Control on your local computer and on one server at the same time.
