TX Text Control runs in server mode inside Internet Information Server (IIS), so IIS must be installed before an Active Server Page can create a `TXTextControl`. TX Text Control supports IIS version 5 or higher.

### Where IIS Runs

IIS can run on a dedicated server, or you activate it on your own development computer. That way you develop and test an application on a single computer and move it to a dedicated server later.
