# Tool Bars

A button bar, a ruler bar and a status bar are separate controls that work together with `TXTextControl`. You connect them to `TXTextControl` with its `ButtonBarHandle`, `RulerHandle`, `VerticalRulerHandle` and `StatusBarHandle` properties.
