Returns or sets the paint style of a ruler bar.

### Syntax

```vbscript
TXRulerBar.Appearance [= value]
```

| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| 0 - txFlat | Flat. Paints the ruler bar in a flat design. |
| 1 - tx3D | (Default). 3D. Paints the ruler bar with three-dimensional effects. |
| 2 - txXP | Paints the ruler bar in Windows XP look. |
| 3 - txColorScheme | The ruler bar has a flat design and a background color depending on the color scheme currently set through the system settings. |
