# ClipSiblings Property

This property determines the clipping behavior of each of the child controls which belong to a common container control. It must be set to False if the program is to allow transparent Text Controls to overlap other Text Controls.

### Syntax

```vbscript
TXTextControl.ClipSiblings [= boolean]
```

| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| True | (Default) Excludes those areas occupied by other child controls from the update area. |
| False | Updates areas which are occupied by other child controls. |
