# EditableRegionDelete Method

> Deletes the editable region with the RegionId returned by EditableRegionInsert from the document; returns False when the region identifier is invalid.

This method can be used to delete an editable region from the document.

### Syntax

```vbscript
TXTextControl.EditableRegionDelete RegionId
```

### Parameters

| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| RegionId | Specifies the editable region's unique identifier. This must be the value returned from the [EditableRegionInsert](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txtextcontrol/editableregioninsert-method/llms-full.txt) method. |

### Return Value

The return value is True, if the specified region could be deleted. Otherwise, it is False. False is returned, if the specified region id is invalid.
