# FieldPosX Property

Returns the horizontal position of a marked text field. The field identifier must have previously been determined with the [FieldCurrent](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txtextcontrol/fieldcurrent-property/llms-full.txt) property.

```

### Limitations

Read only, run time only.

### Remarks

The property value is the distance in horizontal direction between the left border of the marked text field and the left border of the Text Control. It is not affected by the scrollbar positions.
