# FontSize Property

> Returns or sets the font size in points of the selected or complete TXTextControl text, depending on FormatSelection; 0 means the selection mixes sizes.

Returns or sets a value that specifies the size of the font used to display text. This value is in points. At design time this property changes or gets the font size of the complete text. At runtime this property determines the font size of the selected text when the [FormatSelection](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txtextcontrol/formatselection-property/llms-full.txt) property has been set to True. When the [FormatSelection](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txtextcontrol/formatselection-property/llms-full.txt) property has been set to False the font size of the complete text is set or returned.

### Syntax

```vbscript
TXTextControl.FontSize [= value]
```

### Data Types

Integer.

### Remarks

The property returns 0 if the selected text contains fonts with different sizes. This can happen only at runtime and when the [FormatSelection](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txtextcontrol/formatselection-property/llms-full.txt) property has been set to True.
