# FootnoteGoto Method

Sets the current input position to the reference mark of the specified footnote and scrolls the text so that this position is at the top of the control's visible text.

### Syntax

```vbscript
TXTextControl.FootnoteGoto FootnoteId
```

### Parameters

| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| FootnoteId | Specifies the footnote's unique identifier. This must be the value returned from the [FootnoteInsert](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txtextcontrol/footnoteinsert-method/llms-full.txt) method. |

### Return Value

If the footnote could be found the method returns True, otherwise it returns False.
