# Language Property

> Sets the language of TXTextControl dialog boxes and error messages: German (49, 41, 43) or English; ResourceFile adds languages, default is the system language.

Determines the language in which Text Control displays dialog boxes and error messages. A Text Control has English and German as built-in languages, additional languages can be added with the [ResourceFile](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txtextcontrol/resourcefile-property/llms-full.txt) property. The default language is the Windows system language.
