# ObjectPosX Property

> Sets or returns the horizontal position in twips of the current object, relative to its paragraph when anchored or to the page's left edge when fixed.

Gets or sets the image's, text frame's, signature field's or OLE object's horizontal position, in twips. The [ObjectCurrent](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txtextcontrol/objectcurrent-property/llms-full.txt) property determines the object. If the object is anchored to a paragraph, the position is relative to left border of the paragraph. Otherwise, it is relative to the left edge of a page. If the object has a horizontal alignment or if it is inserted as character, this property returns zero. This property cannot be used with objects which are inserted as character.
