# ObjectTransparency Property

> Sets or returns the transparency of the current text frame from 0 (opaque) to 255 (completely transparent); the property can be used with text frames only.

Specifies the object's transparency. It must be a value between 0 and 255. Zero means opaque and 255 means completely transparent. The [ObjectCurrent](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txtextcontrol/objectcurrent-property/llms-full.txt) property determines the object. This property can only be used with text frames.
