Colored paragraph backgrounds and frame lines, new zoom options and read-only toolbars are the main additions of TX Text Control ActiveX 24.0. Read on for all features, properties and methods added since version 23.0 and the members whose parameters changed.

### New Features

- **Colored paragraphs.** A paragraph's background and the lines of a paragraph frame can be colored. [FrameColor](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txtextcontrol/framecolor-property/llms-full.txt) and [FrameLineColor](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txtextcontrol/framelinecolor-property/llms-full.txt) get or set these colors. The built-in dialog box for paragraph attributes, the TX Text Control file format and all text filters support them.
- **Zooming.** New zoom options zoom the contents of a `TXTextControl` so that the whole page, the complete width of a page or the complete text of a line becomes visible. You use them with the new [Zoom](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txtextcontrol/zoom-method/llms-full.txt) method. The [TXStatusBar](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txstatusbar/llms-full.txt) control has two new buttons for this feature.
- **Toolbars.** [TXButtonBar](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txbuttonbar/llms-full.txt) and [TXRulerBar](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txrulerbar/llms-full.txt) can now be set to read-only. A read-only toolbar still shows all formatting attributes of the connected [TXTextControl](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txtextcontrol/llms-full.txt), but they cannot be changed from it.
- **Built-in dialog boxes.** [ParagraphDialog](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txtextcontrol/paragraphdialog-method/llms-full.txt), [TableAttrDialog](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txtextcontrol/tableattrdialog-method/llms-full.txt) and [ObjectAttrDialog](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/reference/txtextcontrol/objectattrdialog-method/llms-full.txt) have a new optional parameter that specifies the tab shown when the dialog box opens.
- **Text fields.** When a [text field](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-activex/document-editor/fields/llms-full.txt) has a doubled input position at its beginning and at its end, each of these positions can now be reached with a mouse click.
