### Where to Start

1. **Upgrading to a new major version?** Read [Breaking Changes](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-dotnet-server/whats-new/breaking-changes/llms-full.txt) for every version between yours and the target, then the pages of the versions you skip, for the features you gain.
2. **Staying on your major version?** [Service Packs](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-dotnet-server/whats-new/service-packs/llms-full.txt) lists what the updates of your version changed. Text Control recommends updating to the latest service pack.
3. **Maintaining older code?** Check it against [Deprecated APIs](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-dotnet-server/whats-new/deprecated-apis/llms-full.txt) and replace the obsolete members it uses.

The [Upgrade Guide](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-dotnet-server/installation/upgrading/llms-full.txt) takes you through the upgrade itself: the NuGet and npm packages, the code changes and the redeployment.
