Much of what a Windows Forms application does with documents happens in code rather than in the editor: building a report, converting a file, printing a letter. Three tutorials show these tasks with `ServerTextControl`, the document engine without a user interface, and with the `TextControl` on your form, each as a few button handlers.

### Before You Start

- Complete [Create Your First Windows Forms Application](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-dotnet-winforms/getting-started/document-editor/first-application/llms-full.txt). The tutorials add buttons to its form with the `TextControl` named `textControl1`.
- Read [ServerTextControl](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-dotnet-winforms/overview/components/servertextcontrol/llms-full.txt) in the Overview if the component is new to you: it explains why it has to be initialized with `Create` and disposed.

The tutorials build on each other in the order above, but each one can be followed on its own.

### After These Tutorials
