# RibbonToolTip Class

> The RibbonToolTip class represents a small rectangular pop-up window that displays the title and/or a brief description of a ribbon item's purpose when the user rests the pointer on the control. If neither the Title nor the Description property is set, the tool tip is not displayed. A RibbonToolTip is inherited from the System.ComponentModel.Component class.
