# ImageInsertionMode Enumeration

### Description

Determines how an [Image](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-dotnet-winforms/reference/txtextcontrol/image/llms-full.txt) can be inserted in the text. The enumeration contains the following values:

### Members

| Member | Value | Description |
|---|---|---|
| AsCharacter | 1 | The image is inserted in the text as a single character. |
| DisplaceCompleteLines | 4 | The image is inserted at a certain geometrical location. The text stops at the top and continues at the bottom of the image. |
| DisplaceText | 8 | The image is inserted at a certain geometrical location. The text flows around the image and empty areas at the left and right side are filled. |
| AboveTheText | 524290 | The image is inserted at a certain geometrical location above the text. This means that the image overwrites the text. |
| BelowTheText | 262146 | The image is inserted at a certain geometrical location below the text. This means that the text overwrites the image. |
| MoveWithText | 65536 | The image is anchored to a paragraph and moved with the text. This member cannot be used with the [ImageCollection.Add](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-dotnet-winforms/reference/txtextcontrol/imagecollection/add-method/llms-full.txt) methods. |
| FixedOnPage | 131072 | The image is fixed positioned on a page. This member cannot be used with the [ImageCollection.Add](https://docs.textcontrol.com/tx-text-control-dotnet-winforms/reference/txtextcontrol/imagecollection/add-method/llms-full.txt) methods. |

The following example selects the As Character value from the Image Insertion Mode enumeration and uses it as a documented workflow choice.
