The reference lists the classes of TX Text Control .NET for WPF by namespace. When you know the task, such as formatting text, filling a table, adding a ruler or merging a template, but not the class, start here: each section below names the member of `WPF.TextControl` where the task begins, the classes and members you work with and the topic page that shows them in code.

### Character Formatting

Character attributes such as font, size, color and underline are properties of the current selection. On an empty selection, they apply to the text typed next.

### Ribbon Tabs, Toolbars and Bars

The bars around the editor are WPF elements of `TXTextControl.WPF`. A bar is connected to the editor through a property of `WPF.TextControl`, usually set in XAML.

`WPF.TextControl` has no `Charts` collection and no chart events. ### Base Classes and Interfaces
