What's New in ReportingCloud in 2020
The Zend Framework module of the PHP SDK became a Laminas module in 2020, and a release of the PHP SDK improved its compatibility with Composer 2.0. What a Zend Framework 3 application changes to use the Laminas module is under Upgrading.
Changes at a Glance
| Date | Change |
|---|---|
| October 28 | PHP SDK 2.6.2 for Composer 2.0 |
| January 3 | Laminas module 2.2.0 |
SDKs
- Composer 2 (October 28). PHP SDK 2.6.2 improves the compatibility with Composer 2.0.
- Laminas module (January 3). The Zend Framework 3 module of the PHP SDK was rewritten for Laminas, the successor of Zend Framework, in its version 2.2.0.
Upgrading
- Move to Laminas. Module 2.2.0 requires
laminas/laminas-mvc,laminas/laminas-servicemanagerandlaminas/laminas-viewinstead of the Zend Framework components. Its public interfaces are unchanged, so a Laminas application uses it as before; a Zend Framework 3 application stays on version 2.1.0 until it moves to Laminas. See Breaking Changes.
