Description

Gets or sets a user-defined identifier. It must be a one-based value. A value of zero indicates that the footnote has no identifier.

Syntax

public int ID { get; set; }

Examples

The following example adds and configures a source note at the current input position by using Footnote.ID.

Footnote footnote = new("Source: FY 2026 annual report");
textControl.Footnotes.Add(footnote, false);

footnote.ID = 100;
