TrackedChangesHorizontalSidebar Property

Property|Introduced in 26.0
Namespace
TXTextControl.WPF
Package
TXTextControl.TextControl.WPF.SDK as TXTextControl.WPF.dll from the private NuGet feed or Text Control Offline Packages

Description

Specifies the name of the horizontal sidebar that is connected to the RibbonProofingTab's TXITEM_TrackedChanges button. The property value is String.Empty, if there is no sidebar connected.

Syntax

public string TrackedChangesHorizontalSidebar { get; set; }

Examples

The following example uses RibbonProofingTab.TrackedChangesHorizontalSidebar to configure tracked changes horizontal sidebar as part of the ribbon proofing tab workflow. The configured value is checked before the workflow continues.

ribbonProofingTab.TrackedChangesHorizontalSidebar = "Quarterly report";
if (!string.IsNullOrWhiteSpace(ribbonProofingTab.TrackedChangesHorizontalSidebar))
{
    Console.WriteLine($"Tracked Changes Horizontal Sidebar: {ribbonProofingTab.TrackedChangesHorizontalSidebar}");
}

Remarks

Checking the TXITEM_TrackedChanges button, if the corresponding horizontal sidebar drop down button is toggled, displays the connected sidebar as pinned. If the drop down button is not toggled, the sidebar is represented by a sizable dialog. In both cases, the sidebar's content layout is set to SidebarContentLayout.TrackedChanges and the connected vertical tracked changes sidebar is hidden.
