Visual C++ Runtime Dependencies
The native libraries of TX Text Control .NET for Windows Forms use the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime, which not every Windows installation has. It isn't part of the NuGet package or of the files you copy from the setup, so your installer has to take care of it, whichever way you deploy the files of TX Text Control.

The runtime belongs to the native libraries, not to the .NET assemblies. It is needed whether the native libraries come from the NuGet package or from Assembly\bin and Assembly\bin64 of the setup.
An AnyCPU application runs as a 64-bit process on 64-bit Windows and as a 32-bit process on 32-bit Windows, so it needs the runtime of the bitness it runs with on each machine. x86, x64, and AnyCPU explains the configurations.
Install the Runtime on the User's Machine
To redistribute VCRUNTIME140.DLL, use Microsoft's redistributable package rather than copying the file.
- Download the redistributable of the bitness your application uses from Microsoft's page Latest Supported Visual C++ Redistributable Downloads.
- Include it in the installer of your application, or install it on the target machines before your application.
- For an application that ships both an x86 and an x64 version, include the redistributable of each bitness with the matching version.
Warning
Missing Runtime. When the runtime is missing, the application fails on the user's machine although all files of TX Text Control are in place. The Visual C++ Runtime Is Missing describes the symptom and the fix.
Other Windows Components
The XML features of TX Text Control use the Microsoft XML parser, which has to be installed in the Windows system directory: MSXML3.DLL, MSXML3A.DLL and MSXML3R.DLL.
