Installation Guide
Before TX Text Control ActiveX runs in a development environment or on a server, a few conditions have to be met: a supported Windows version, a supported development environment and, in applications that aren't written in Visual Basic, the license information passed by your code. The Installation Guide covers each of them.
Once the product runs, the Deployment Guide takes over with the files your application needs on the end user's machine.

Where to Start
- Check the System Requirements on your development machine.
- If you write a server application, read Installing TX Text Control on a Server. The license agreement allows TX Text Control on your local computer and on one server at the same time.
- If you don't develop in Visual Basic, you may have to pass your serial number from your code, as Specifying a Serial Number in C++ shows.
